Information - returns and cancellations
Cancellations & Amendments

  • If you need to cancel or amend your Made to Measure order, you may only do so up to 48 hours after you have placed your order by contacting Customer Services.*
  • After 48 hours, we reserve the right to charge you for costs incurred as a result of your amended or cancelled order. This charge shall not exceed 25% of the value of the products amended or cancelled.


Standard Home Furnishings

  • Once products are assigned or despatched, you may return the Products within 28 days of receipt either:-
  • By post using the prepaid label enclosed with your order to, Returns Department, Laura Ashley, PO Box 19, Newtown, Powys, SY16 1DZ (exclusions apply) or
  • In store (provided that Fashion Products are returned to Fashion stores and Home Products to Home stores).
  • When returning Standard Home Furnishings, please return with proof of purchase (a receipt or despatch note) unused and in a saleable condition in the original packaging where possible.
  • All products ordered from this site are Made to Order; therefore products cannot be returned unless confirmed as defective by a Laura Ashley appointed inspector.
  • Please take reasonable care of the Products while in your possession and when returning the Products package properly and securely to prevent damage or loss in transit.
  • You bear the risk of loss and damage to the Products until we receive them.
  • Refunds will only be given through the original payment method, where appropriate.

Self Assembly Self assembly

  • Self assembly Products must be returned unused in the original packaging and cannot be returned once assembled, unless confirmed defective by us.
  • For Self assembly Products purchased via Distance Communication, we ask that you exercise care while examining the Products by not assembling them where possible.
  • If returning the Self assembly Product, please return disassembled where possible. If this may damage the Self assembly Products, please contact Customer Services* to arrange collection. A £60 collection charge will apply.


    Upholstery & Furniture

  • If you need to amend or cancel your MTM, Upholstery or Furniture order you may only do so up to 48 hours after you have placed your order by contacting Customer Services*
  • After 48 hours, we reserve the right to charge you for costs incurred as a result of your amended or cancelled order. This charge shall not exceed 25% of the value of the Products cancelled or amended.
  • Once received, these Products cannot be cancelled unless confirmed defective by a Laura Ashley inspector.
  • Upholstery and Furniture cannot be returned direct to our stores,
  • Furniture and Non-MTO Upholstery purchased via Distance Selling may be cancelled or returned at any time up to seven days from the day after receipt of the Product by informing us within that period that you wish to do so.
  • If after cancellation the Furniture or Non-MTO Upholstery purchased via Distance Selling has been delivered it must be kept in good condition for collection by our nominated carrier. A £60 collection charge will apply.
  • For hygiene reasons, mattresses cannot be returned once packaging has been opened unless confirmed defective by a Laura Ashley appointed inspector. 


    Defective Products

    • On delivery, it is your responsibility to check and immediately report to Customer Services* any damage to products. We will not accept liability for visible damage not reported within three days of delivery.
    • If you believe your products to be of an unsatisfactory quality, please contact Customer Services* immediately and treat the products with utmost care while your claim is being investigated.
    • Our Customer Services will arrange for your product to be inspected.
    • On inspection, if your products are found to be defective, we will at our discretion attempt to restore the product or offer a replacement as soon as reasonably possible.
    • Where you have more than one item on your order, we may request for any other items to be returned to obtain a suitable colour match on the replacement product.
