CURTAIN and pelmet LINING INFORMATION
STANDARD LINING
- Laura Ashley Made to Measure Curtains are available lined, to protect main fabric from fading by sunlight and improve product drape.
- Lining is 100% cotton sateen, and is available in a choice of colours:
- White, Cream or Oatmeal.
- If you are not sure which colour to choose, a colour will be recommended for the fabric you have chosen as you proceed through your order.
INTERLINING
- All curtains are available with Interlining, (instead of standard lining as above), at an additional cost.
- Interlining is 100% cotton sateen lining fabric, with an extra layer of 100% polyester non-woven interlining laminated to the reverse. Interlining is available in a choice of colours: White, Cream or Oatmeal.
- Interlining increases the bulk of your curtains and their thermal properties.
- Interlining is not available in conjunction with Blackout Lining.
BLACKOUT LINING
- All curtains are available with Blackout Lining, (instead of standard lining as above), at an additional cost.
- Blackout lining is a 50% cotton/50% polyester fabric with a 3-pass blackout coating, and is available in a choice of colours: White or Cream.
- Blackout lining greatly reduces light coming from outside penetrating the room, so is excellent for children's rooms. However, although light cannot penetrate the lining, light can come into the room around the top and sides of the curtains.
- This can be improved by using a roller blind fitted inside the window recess, in conjunction with the curtains.
- All Blackout lined curtains must be Sensitive Dry Cleaned.
PELMET LINING INFORMATION

- Interlining increases the bulk of your pelmet.
