Curtains - goblet

A decorative and more formal heading style.

Max. pole width to order = 472cms per pair, max length = 366cms.

  • HEADING – Goblet pleated curtains have a strip of stiffener sewn into the heading, which is pleated and secured at the base to create the goblet effect.  The goblets are 10cms long from the top of the curtain to the base of the pleat.  Goblets are spaced at intervals and will be consistent within a pair of curtains.  Each goblet pleat is filled with a piece of tubular foam to give the pleat its goblet shape.  These foam tubes should be kept in place when the curtain is hanging, but removed for cleaning.
  • HOOKS – These curtains are supplied with plastic hooks attached to ratchet sliders, which are sewn into the reverse of each goblet.  The height of the hook is adjustable on the ratchet to enable the hanging height of the curtains to be varied.
  • FABRIC – Please be aware that certain fabric patterns, which have wide contrasting stripes or motifs across the width, have one drawback when used in a Goblet pleated curtain.  Since the process by which pleat spaces are calculated is standard, it cannot be guaranteed where each motif or stripe will fall on a finished curtain.
  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION – Seams on pleated products may appear within the pleat or the space between the pleats.  Position of pleats and seams cannot be specified.  Pole needs to extend at least 30cms either side of the window, due to the widths of the goblets.

Full instruction leaflets are enclosed with all curtains.
