Straight Edge Roman Blind.

This classic blind style is suited to both traditional and contemporary homes.

Max. width to order = 200cms. Max length to order = 300cms.

  • FEATURES - A Roman Blind consists of a rectangle of flat fabric, which when drawn up forms a series of horizontal folds. When the blind is fully drawn up the lowest part of the blind forms a back flap, which covers all folds on the reverse of the blind to protect the fabric from fading. When viewed from the front, the front fold covers the intermediate folds, with a small amount of the back flap showing below.

Pleated Border Roman Blind.

The classic Roman with a contemporary contrasting fabric border detail, featuring three horizontal pleats, along the bottom edge.

Max. width to order = 200cms. Max length to order = 300cms.

  • FEATURES - A Pleated Border Roman Blind consists of a rectangle of flat fabric, which when drawn up forms a series of horizontal folds. The lower edge of the blind is finished with a 10cm border of contrasting fabric. The contrast border features three horizontal pleats.
  • HARDWARE - This blind does not have a bottom weight bar.
  • BORDER - The border is available in a selection of plain coloured fabrics. When the blind is fully drawn up, the pleated border extends 10cms below the other folds. This should be considered when ordering a Pleated Border Roman Blind, as it will be 10cms longer than a Straight Edge Roman Blind of the same length, when fully pulled up, and so will cover up more of the window, especially when inside a recess.
  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Border fabric should be of a similar weight to main fabric. If you would like to check the two fabrics together, please use our swatch service.

Serpentine Roman Blind.

The classic blind style with a serpentine bottom edge, which can be trimmed with gimp to give the shape more definition.

Max. width to order = 200cms. Max length to order = 300cms.

  • FEATURES - A Serpentine Roman Blind consists of a rectangle of flat fabric with a serpentine shaped lower edge, which when drawn up forms a series of horizontal folds. When the blind is fully drawn up the serpentine section extends 10cms below the other folds. This should be considered when ordering a Serpentine Roman Blind, as it will be 10cms longer than a Straight Edge Roman Blind of the same length, when fully pulled up, and so will cover up more of the window, especially when inside a recess.
  • HARDWARE – The bottom weight bar which fits into a channel above the shaped section of the blind.
  • TRIM - The serpentine edge is trimmed with a narrow cotton braid called gimp. This gimp is optional, the blind can also be ordered without gimp.

Tab Headed Roman Blind.

The classic blind with a decorative tab heading, suitable for use with a curtain pole (not supplied).

Max. width to order = 200cms. Max length to order = 300cms.

  • FEATURES - A Tab Headed Roman Blind consists of a rectangle of flat fabric, which when drawn up forms a series of horizontal folds. When the blind is fully drawn up the lowest part of the blind forms a back flap, which covers all folds on the reverse of the blind to protect the fabric from fading. When viewed from the front, the front fold covers the intermediate folds, with a small amount of the back flap showing below. The blind is hung from a pole by means of fabric tabs.
  • HARDWARE - The operating mechanism of the blind is supported by a wall-mounted track: the fabric of the blind must then be suspended by the tabs from a separate curtain pole, not supplied. (The track is fitted just below the top edge of the main part of the blind, so that no track shows between the tabs).
  • POLE - Tab Headed Romans can be used with any pole up to a diameter of 3.5cms.
  • TABS - The tabs are 5cms wide and 10cms long. They are random cut, unless in a check or striped fabric, in which case tabs will be cut from the darkest shade wherever possible. Tabs are made from the same fabric as the blind.
  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION - This blind is not suitable for inside a recess. The pole required to hang the blind is not supplied. The pole needs to be fitted at least 15cms above the window due to length of tabs.

Bead Trimmed Roman Blind.

The classic Roman blind with a decorative bead trim that falls below the blind, attached to the lower edge.

Max. width to order = 200cms.

  • TRIM - This is a glass bead droplet trim attached to a decorative braid, available in a choice of colours. The braid is attached to the lower edge of the blind, so that the bead droplets hang below the finished edge of the blind. The blind - excluding the trim - will be made to the ordered length and the addition of the trim will be extra to this, therefore this blind can only be used outside the recess where the beads are allowed to hang freely.
  • CLEANING - This product should be specialist cleaned only, as the trim may become damaged or detached.
  • CHOKING HAZZARD - This product should be kept out of reach of children.
  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Trim is additional to the ordered length of the blind. Recommended for outside the recess so trim hangs freely.

When viewed from the front, the front fold covers the intermediate folds, with a small amount of the back flap showing below.
  • BORDERS - The borders are available in a selection of plain coloured fabrics.
